Fax Australia
Free Information About Faxing Australia
How do I create the best possible fax document?
The fax people receive can look a whole lot different than the document you send! A few minutes of your time can save you having to re-send that all important document (and possibly even missing a deadline!).
- Very small text can be fuzzy, so try to keep font size larger than 9 pt, but not too large.
- Fancier fonts can look really bad, so try to use the sans serif fonts and stay away from script styles.
- Images, line-art or text at an angle often look fuzzy.
- Don't waste ink/toner! Avoid excessive use of black, avoid large graphics, stay away from extra large font size, bold settings and underlining
- Full color images converted to gray scale are fuzzy. Try converting with image software before including in the document.
- Line-art works much better and quicker than gray scale. If you can find a line art replacement for an image do so.
- Images that have been rescaled from their original size tend to get fuzzy. If you need to change image size or aspect ratio
try changing it in a graphic program before putting it onto the document.
